What every SILEXD product has in common
Every dildo, plug, and torso we make starts from the same construction: a rigid inner core wrapped in a thermoreactive SILEXPAN® filling. Put it in warm water and it softens. Put it in the freezer and it firms up. That's not a feature of one collection, it's the foundation of all of them.
It's also why every SILEXD product is non-porous, hypoallergenic, and easy to sterilize, regardless of which collection it's from. None of that changes based on price or line. The core is identical across the entire catalog.
What changes is the exterior finish
If the core is the same everywhere, what actually makes The Original feel different from Premium Real Skin? The outer layer wrapped around that core. We use two:
Premium medical-grade silicone
Firm, smooth, and consistent from edge to edge. Used on The Original and Vibrations. Still non-porous and body-safe, just without the extra give of liquid silicone.
Liquid silicone
An ultra-soft outer layer that yields under pressure, closer to real tissue. Used on Premium Real Skin, Real Skin, Fantasy, Apollo Series, and Silex-D Legends.

No. Every collection shares the same SILEXPAN® core. What changes is the exterior finish (medical-grade or liquid silicone) and the design, not the underlying quality.
What's the actual difference between Premium Real Skin and Real Skin?
The finish. Premium Real Skin is hand-painted so every piece is unique; Real Skin uses the same liquid silicone but isn't painted, so it's the natural color of the material with texture from the mold.
Why does The Original feel different from Premium Real Skin if the core is identical?
Because of the exterior. The Original is finished in medical-grade silicone, firm and consistent. Premium Real Skin adds a liquid silicone layer on top, which is noticeably softer against the skin.
Are all SILEXD products thermoreactive?
